Partnering with Sigma Therapies
Sigma Therapies is a dedicated allied health provider with over five years of experience supporting individuals under the NDIS. Our qualified team includes registered Psychologists, certified Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practitioners, and an Occupational Therapist specialising in paediatrics.
By combining these disciplines, we take a holistic, person-centred approach – addressing all aspects of a person’s needs to promote better outcomes and quality of life. We place each individual at the centre of their care, understanding their unique needs and strengths to tailor supports accordingly.
Why partner with Sigma Therapies?
We pride ourselves on being collaborative and outcome-focused. Our team has a track record of clinical excellence and leadership in their fields, which means you can trust the quality of our services. Whether you’re a Support Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator (LAC), or a family member, we share your goal of helping the participant thrive. Partnering with us means gaining a reliable, evidence-based ally who will work with you to achieve the best possible outcomes for the person you support.
Where We Operate & How We Deliver Services
Local Coverage
Sigma Therapies offers mobile services across the Perth metropolitan area. We have four convenient offices in West Perth, Gosnells, Midland, and Bibra Lake for clinic-based appointments.
We meet participants where it best suits their needs – at home, in school, in the community, or in one of our clinics.
Flexible Delivery
Our therapists can come to your location or connect via telehealth, providing support in whatever setting is most comfortable and effective for the client. Therapy sessions can be held in the participant’s home environment, at their school, or even over a secure video call if that’s preferred. This flexibility makes it easier for participants to engage in therapy and for families or support staff to be involved.
Travel Policy
We are a mobile team and do not charge extra for short trips. For longer distances, a travel fee may apply (capped up to 1 hour of travel time, depending on location). All travel charges strictly follow the NDIS Pricing Arrangements guidelines to ensure fairness and transparency. We believe in upfront communication – any potential travel costs will be discussed and agreed upon in advance, so there are no surprises.
What Makes Sigma Therapies Stand Out?
NDIS Registered (PBS Specialisation)
We are an NDIS-registered provider for Positive Behaviour Support. This means we have met the NDIS quality and safeguarding standards and are authorised to deliver Specialist Behaviour Support under the NDIS.
As a registered provider, we can work with participants who are self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA/Agency-managed, giving referrers and families confidence that we meet all regulatory requirements.
Fast Access – No Long Waitlists
We offer prompt service availability, with initial appointments typically available within 2 weeks of referral. We recognise that timely support is critical.
By getting started within days rather than months, we help avoid delays in treatment that could otherwise exacerbate a participant’s challenges. Quick access means goals can be pursued sooner, leading to better progress and less stress for everyone involved.
Expert-Led Team
Our services are delivered by an experienced, multidisciplinary mee. Every client’s plan is overseen by senior clinicians who have extensive expertise in disability therapy.
Combined with NDIS experience, it means our clients receive high-quality, effective support for participants. We stay up-to-date with best practices and provide ongoing clinical supervision within our team, so every intervention is grounded in evidence and compassion.
Seamless Collaboration
We work hand-in-hand with Support Coordinators, LACs, families, and carers to ensure supports are well integrated.
Collaboration is one of our core strengths – we believe in forming a united team around the participant. Our therapists communicate regularly with the participant’s support network, ensuring everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goals.
Pricing & Transparency
We align our fees with the official NDIS Price Guide (Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits), so all our service rates are NDIS-compliant.
You will find our pricing fair and straightforward – there are no hidden fees or surprise add-ons. If a session or support incurs travel time or other billable expenses, we explain these up front.
We adhere to NDIS pricing rules for travel and other costs, which are in place to ensure fairness for participants and adequate compensation for providers.
How to Refer or Connect With Us
Referring to Sigma Therapies is simple and quick.
We know that as a Support Coordinator or LAC, you need providers who respond promptly and make your job easier. That’s why we’ve streamlined our intake process – you can refer a participant to us via a single phone call, email, or our online referral form, and we’ll take it from there.
We make it easy to send and quickly process referrals (no lengthy forms or waiting for a call-back).
Once we receive the referral or enquiry, our intake team will contact you (and the family, if appropriate) within one business day to discuss the participant’s needs and schedule the initial appointment without delay.
When you reach out to Sigma Therapies, you’ll connect directly with a knowledgeable team member who can assist you. We’ll provide you with a direct contact for any follow-up – you won’t be passed around or stuck talking to a generic call centre. This personal touch ensures that Support Coordinators and families always have someone familiar with the case to speak to for updates or questions.
We encourage you to reach out even if it’s just for an initial discussion – we’re happy to answer questions about our services, brainstorm support options, or explain how we can tailor our approach to a specific participant.
Personalised Service Agreements
After discussing a participant’s needs, we can promptly draft a personalised Service Agreement for your review. This agreement will clearly outline the supports, goals, frequency of sessions, and costs, all aligned with the participant’s NDIS plan. We take the time to make these agreements thorough and tailored to each individual, so that families and support teams know exactly what to expect. Once the agreement is signed, our team can begin services immediately, keeping you informed at each step.
